The whole space frontier thing never made sense to me. Material balance that concept: food, water, waste - and then how far can “we” really go? We’re still constrained by the physical world.
A bitcoin standard will create an optimization of how we allocate scarce resources but we’re still constrained by thermodynamics. I expect it will lead to a much more functional and enjoyable experience on planet earth but I don’t see a ton of upside to spending resources reaching for stars that we’ll never reach.
If we don't do the research, we will never reach them - on energy, on ships. Could be a multi-generational vessel too - the construction of a space citadel over centuries
