I really donāt like the outbox model. I think itās the wrong way to proceed.
Hopefully someone smart finds a better way.

What don't you like about it?
Lots of small things.
I donāt like that decisions are being made without my approval. Connecting to relays I donāt know behind my back.
The client is connecting to relays based on information, that you wonāt get unless you connect to those clients in the first place.
The client connects keeps connecting and disconnecting to so many relays, which seems very inefficient.
Itās not elegant. Feels like someone who was just trying to solve a problem put the solution together. But it lacks art and experience.
It's not completely behind your back though.. they are mostly relays of people you follow..
But I understand your point though, makes it more important to use a VPN.
This model, is not independent from having the first Relay list to begin with.
Feels a little clunky.
Also, I donāt want to read from relays I donāt want, and definitely not write to them.
I donāt want to use a VPN they are controlled by governments the most.
If someone else wants to rebroadcast my note, by all means. I donāt want my client connecting to different relays dynamically.
There is a nip for protected notes.
