I cant remember the story in full detail but i do remember it because it terrified me, somewhere on 4chan a anon stated he was completely wiped off the mainnet by Google, he told the message board that he was a 17 year old kid from india who was amazed by the internet, he learned to code and build is own computer and had several projects like a youtube channel and several files with the Google service.
He then proceeded to explain that he wished to visit any and every page on the internet without having to provide information as where he was going or use any cookies or something along those lines (basically he wanted the open frontier of the internet like before it became so giant); so he decided to mess with the google search engine, disabled trackers and other stuff that he deamed that would hold him back and then poff, he was here, outside the bubble of the mainnet, he saw whatever he wished to see even if it had a key to it but he could still see it.
Sadly however, people at google caught wind of this; I dont know how long into the timeline this happened but he reported that he misteriously couldnt log in to his email, documents, social media accounts, etc etc; He was basically removed from existing at all on the internet, he lost all his work, photos, messages, everythkng that was tied to his gmail account; Gone.
He tried fighting google to give him his internet existance back but google forbade him from ever using their service ever again.
I dont remember much of what happened to him since then, but i believe this kid is wandering outside the bubble still.
Im writting this because its a story of how decentralization is a blessing for us but it was a curse for him; Also i write this incase this kid is here or somewhere farther away from the bubble into the unknown, so that he knows his story was heard.
He's a hero without wanting to be one.
