Violin. I still have my learning stickers and old homework. Would dread carrying the big case on a packed bus every Wednesday to and from secondary school.

You can totally do it ! ❤️🔥🫂 oh man, I wanted to play cello too, but the idea of carrying it around as a teen 😭 I struggled carrying my violin case from class to class (no lockers) cos it was basically the same height as me (I’m super tall now though). I love watching the cellists at concerts, they always look so beautiful and the sound is the best 🫂
I carried a clarinet, picked it because it was smaller than a trumpet, but not a flute like most of the girls played.
Served me well into university. I do wish however I’d learned the strings back then.

Occasionally. Unfortunately not as much as I’d like these last few years on the farm. Since graduation at university I’ve not been involved in band, or choir anymore so they’ve both been a much missed activity.
Gosh, I miss playing so much😭 I didn't think a person could miss the smell of rosin.
I remember having pencil/tape residue marks all over where your stickers are and I think I can only play twinkle twinkle little star and like one other song I can't even name.
I was grateful I had a hard case for mine because I would ram mother fuckers when they got in my way and keep the seat full with my bookbag and case so I'd have the seat to myself.
I honestly can't wait to get to a point where I can buy another (or possibly a cello) and take a lesson or two.
