uhh yes? I'd agree with that. more tools leads to more good. more options for levels of hodl'ing is good. I just don't understand why people always say "it just works." sure it does. it's a centralized service that issues the tokens.
honestly I think the pay to pubkey thing that nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg talked about on #CitadelDispatch recently is super cool. allows for offline payments, I believe. I don't _think_ it requires communication with the mint to complete but I might be incorrect there.
Run your own mint and it wont be. You and you buddies could run a mint and no one will rob you hopefully because they are you personal friends. Also use a trusted mint like you use a trusted lightning wallet. 🤷🏽♀️ we needed private transactions now we have them but its all wrong still hahaha i get you though but we have solutions for that
