My original first glance reaction at nostr was actually "wait a second, this is just rss with extra steps" 🤣.
Still use rss to track and read selected blog posts.
Aaron Schwartz would have been all over nostr. He would be proud.
Do you miss RSS feeders? Did you know that you can essentially turn your social nostr client an RSS feed reader?
1. Visit https://rsslay.nostr.moe
2. Create or Find your RSS feed.
3. Copy the npub that you found or created.
4. Visit https://listr.lol
5. Login with NIP-07 extension.
6. Create a new List called 'News' or whatever.
7. Paste all of the npub's for your RSS feeds.
8. Add relay wss://rsslay.nostr.moe to your social client and view your List in your social client.
9. If your social client does not support Lists, then you'll need to individually follow all of the npubs that you added to a List back in Step 7.
10. Enjoy RSS feeds on nostr.
