In which future difficulty period and which epoch will:

Block Height = USD$ price

.. for the first time?

Needs an oracle of 5 large exchanges in different jurisdictions

10k sats to bet on a difficulty period

1k sats to bet on an epoch

Needs to be KYC-free

Needs clever DLC

On triggering:

DLC authorship 5%

Balance to pay out to winners in proportion from each pool

There are 104.16666… difficulty periods per epoch. How would you account for the 1/6th of the last difficulty period in the epoch?

Difficulty periods are uniquely and sequentially numbered; whether a difficulty period aligns with an epoch boundary isn't relevant .. just gotta pick which difficulty period ;-)
