Qobuz is better still. Wider range of genres and artists.
Spotify can listen for free with ads and lower quality soind. With premium u get better sond without ads.
I’ve used a ton of music services over the years….shitty but… imho…. Apple Music is the best unfortunately.
Mostly sound quality. And no, you don’t need to spend Ks to hear it. Transparent and resolving dacs, amps, headphones, speakers, etc. are dirty cheap nowadays.
