Yup. And I can't exactly fault them, especially in US. I've been learning more church history and I'm just SO effing done with the modern evangelical churches in the US. I don't blame people for looking at that and going "ew. Nope."
Here is to hoping next year is at least less worse than previous years. I'm not supposed to say that, but... That's exactly what I'm thinking right now.
Yup. I grew up Lutheran, who are huge evangelicals. For me practicing personal faith is better than organized religion. I also sometimes enjoy small group Bible reading and discussion, but big church stuff turns me off most of the time.

It is more complicated than I can explain yet. I'm supposed to be acting in faith. I'm having a really hard time with that. In fact, the whole concept pisses me off. 🤷♂️😑😡
