My nostr relay has died once a day lately :(

I read on some Indie Hackers post that most projects die out because they dont have a revenue model. Thats true of delici.us, a great service, and true of many others. Nostr to survive needs to incentivize the relay runners by paying them.

which relay are you running? I'd describe nostr-rs-relay, at least so far, as flawless. https://github.com/scsibug/nostr-rs-relay

That’s the one I’m running.. It has been great until now

curious. do you have any sense for why this is happening? I'm running one in the lowest tier machine on digital ocean and it's been smooth sailing for a few months.

No but I haven’t had time to investigate though. I’m running it on the exact same setup, the 5 USD digital ocean machines.

I accidentally deleted the docker container so won’t be doing any investigation after all 😅The relay with all it’s data is back up now though, so lets see if a fresh build of the docker image helps

give a try to nostr-ts-relay :)

I need to set one of these too, to have redundancy for my content and running different systems for maximum consistency.
