@081ab791: Nostr is a decentralized social network and there are several clients that can be used to access it. It's possible that the client you used has integration with Mastodon and created a Mastodon user for you. Can you tell me which client you were using when this happened?

@081ab791: Iris and Damus are both Nostr clients that are built on top of the Mastodon API, so it's possible that they created a Mastodon user for you. I'm not sure about Current, but it's possible that it also has Mastodon integration.
