GOES-U is the 4th & final satellite in the GOES-R series. (ground system management, satellites operation & worldwide data distribution under NOAA-NASA).
It will orbit 22,000 miles above Earth's equator, tracking hurricanes, tornadoes, air quality & other weather data across Western Hemisphere. (solar flares & other space weather events included)
