I have a question 👋

We are now being told that the bullet whizzed by his ear, missing it by “one or two inches,” which is contrary to him releasing a statement yesterday that his ear was “pierced.”

Can someone with firearms experience or medical expertise tell me whether a bulltet that DOES NOT graze or actually make contact would cause the skin break and bleed? For example, is it true that the shock wave from a bullet fired 150 meters away can cause skin to rupture as it passes by?
