ahhh yep, the $200 probes i was referencing were wireless in the sense that they don’t have the metal thread running from the probe to the device
you can just sort of stick it in the meat and then handle your cut as if it’s not even attached to anything - but a heavy price to pay for a little inconvenience i guess
