remember how doctors used to encourage pregnant women to smoke cigarettes specifically for the fact that it causes lower birth rates which were proven to be a bad thing but doctors were being paid to say it was a good thing, or asbestos, climate change, lead etc.

see when you own the media you only need a handful of corrupt "scientists" to agree with you and it doesn't matter what the real scientists think, at least until recently now. social media has helped give real scientists a means to communicate, but also opened the doors for even more disinformation created by corporations and spy agencies to change public opinion
