Should I sell my condo and buy bitcoin? It’s in Mexico, no mortgage…. I want to detach from real estate. Renting sucks but so does owning assets the government Can confíscate, that will more than likely lose a ton of value in the near future.

Imagine that the government taxes your real estate, after they taxed the money you bought it with.

There’s some capital gains on the sales but it’s Mexico so there’s ways around it as well, post 3 years we’re also exempt as primary residence
Doesn’t matter compared to gains made with bitcoin in next two years. Will cover bs tax
