I also wonder if the government could go after the ETFs. They’re an easy target since they’re on traditional brokerage accounts.

Let’s say they slap an additional tax on them to fight “climate change” or some BS starting on XX date. You’d see a mass exodus out of ETFs, and the resulting drop would scare off a lot of these new folks.
