To what extent is #prepping a fantasy, and to what extent is it practical?

It is practical because it involves knowledge and the art of optimization. It is useful even in case of a basic emergency
it's useful when there are storms or shipping issues or pandemics. or just to reduce prices by buying in bulk.
saving money/stacking SATs is also a form of prepping.
I’ve been looking around for a big freezer to store a partial cow share for this reason!
Depends how you do it. Reasonble to have a couple weeks of food at all times. Less reasonable to have a nuclear bunker.
Makes sense to me. I’m sure there are levels to it depending on factors like location, means, and independence as well.
