Just curious, if WL would allow for actual open splits and direct to artist payments, would you then play their artists?
You and Boobs are kicking ass onboarding (and emancipating) musicians! Sovereignty takes extra steps but is always worth it.
I can't even play "what if" games with WL because as their platform model works, they couldn't allow direct-to-artist payments since artists are paid using a wallet on the WL node. When they prohibited a Russian artist, that was a HUGE red flag to me. Embargoes be damned! Embargies deal with fiat anyway. BTC is for the people and has NO boundaries.
For me, teaching and encouraging musicians to DIY it is the utmost value. The more knowledge we share, the better. And for those that don't want to figure it out, there are radical people like you, Boobs, Phantom Power and FalseFinish.club willing to help.
