I guess we would want that option for opsec in general. Npubs who dox their real name probably would want that for any amount usually. But also ideally there’d be some mechanism to prevent people from playing multiple seats at the same table and that could complicate things

You're right. Is there currently a verifiable way to ensure the cards are shuffled and dealt randomly and fairly? That was always my biggest suspicison with online poker sites.
Not that i’m aware of. But that’s not saying much. Lightning-poker does have the github link but it gets a 404 for me 😅
Very awesome to think about a poker table that is provably fair and honest, open 24/7, that lives on Nostr. No ID needed because there is no "House". Could set a known small zap split for every pot that is won.
The other major Achilles heel is cheating by collaborating with a "team" at the table. Need to ensure assembling the players in the game is random and communication outside the game is prevenetd.
