The actions of the government have always been unacceptable, but it just takes time for people to be hit with the realization. I'm not sorry it's taken so much from her, and I hope you are able to get through this ordeal as smoothly as possible, but I also know fighting against tyranny is an uphill battle, and almost always ends in heartbreak.
