How long ago was the previous version? They changed the model recently to a single channel with splicing, might be related. But any case yes you control the funds as long as you have the seed (as long as you weren't penalty closed of course).

I have the seed, and updated to the splicing version long ago.

I updated to the new version in nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8 this morning

What’s weird is the transaction ID Phoenix is providing for the channel closing is shown as ā€œtransaction not foundā€ on mempool.space, despite having been created like 20 minutes ago :/

That bitcoiner ā€œI trusted but didn’t verifyā€ paranoia is tugging on my sleeve at the moment…

It does look like there’s another version in zap.store already for a bug fix. Hmm. Should I update?

I had something similar happen with Zeus from a force closure. I waited a few days for what I assumed was a lockup period, The tx id wasn't showing up on mempool, they told me to delete my neutrino peers with high ping and restart the app. After I did that the tx eventually broadcast.

Had me panicking for a while but eventually I got where I needed to be. Also not sure how Phoenix handles it versus what my problem was with Zeus that fixed it.

I had that with Zeus too - lol, that’s why I moved back to Phoenix as my daily driver. Fewer levers to manage and a (usually) flawless UX, although I still use/enjoy and have mad respect for Zeus
