Just realized this morning my ISP has been throttling my connection for the past two weeks, surely not because I’m running a full node and miners. Anyone else out there experiencing this? Curious timing given everything going on out there in fiat land…

The bandwidth demand of miners is no way high enough for reason to throttle

Yeah it’s interesting. Overall data usage in the past month is only about 150GB, but I’d been noticing weird shit with accessing websites. Checked my node and it hasn’t synced a block in over two weeks. Went on Google to run a speed test, got an error stating the internet is too busy and it can’t run the test. Connected to a VPN, speed test came back 55mbps up and down. Node is now syncing. Definitely seems like Big Brother is afoot here.

Can it be the configurations of your router is causing this?

VPNs will change the computers configurations for the time they’re up so I’d look into that first
