Perhaps it's time to compare the role that the MAGA movement is playing in the 2025 war in Ukraine with that of the “peace movement” in the Vietnam War. The latter was instrumentalized by the USSR to undermine American morale in the war, which led to the disastrous communist takeover of the country. Russia is attempting something similar today.
