My estimation is that they won’t have a device in hand till they stabilize the situation. Then go through the wallet etc … and even then … having some sort of explanation to save them scanning would be ideal.

The real value will be lower stress situations. Either way. … UX research is what’ll be needed to confirm.

It's still early for a national awareness campaign. I only got this working an hour ago...
