This is rush grass. It grows here in more wet areas and the sheep don't really eat it. It's been proliferating more than I'd like, out competing the grasses that the sheep prefer. In the summer this paddock could only support the flock for one day instead of the average 3 days. With only 10 acres of pasture every paddock makes a big difference on our overall capacity.
