Zues crashes 80% of the time I try to open it. This has been a problem since I installed it in October. Any tips?

Cant say Zeus has ever crashed for me. Did you try reinstalling?
I Did once and it fixed it temporarily
Using it over tor is a pretty awful experience, even #[2] will tell you this

I do for my own node but for zapping i have a wallet on #[4]’s node which he runs on clearnet. Secksy af
If you use LND switch to Lightning Node Connect. If you use CLN check out Tailscale or ZeroTier.
Sorry. Tor is super unreliable especially in North America.
