Join us this Sunday when we will be discussing the 5th of the 10 precepts: avoiding harsh speech or kindly speech.

β€œThe fifth precept is concerned with avoiding harsh speech. Harsh speech is speech which is rough, crude, or abusive. It is speech which wounds others. Speech can be very powerful; it can be used to heal or to harm. The opposite of harsh speech is kindly speech: speech which soothes, which encourages, which brings people together. In practicing this precept, we commit ourselves to speaking in ways that foster harmony and understanding.” - Sangharakshita

We will also practice the Metta Bhavana meditation πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ
