I am a simple creature.

When I extremely rarely find myself wanting to read a news article, and blocked by a paywall...

I either disable it using my browser dev tools, or click the back button.

Newspapers suck.

Online newspapers suck more.

How do you disable it with browser dev tools?

If you inspect part of the paywall, start up-cursoring until you find the tip level div.

Or delete your way up.

When you delete the paywall it often (not always) let's you read.

I'm happy to V4V. But their model is broken.
