"Communication between clients and relays

Relays expose a websocket endpoint to which clients can connect. Clients should open a single websocket connection to each relay and use it for all their subscriptions."

Can somebody help me understand the meaning of this?

Does it mean i should learn to host a relay kinda private for myself or i should rely on public relays but stick to one? In the latter solution, what if that relay is unresponsive at sometime?🧐

In general a client connects to multiple public relays. If one is unrespoinsive its not a big deal because there are the other ones.

so for every fetch or set operation I should be using a relaypool if i understand it correctly.
