Oh, I bet that last note is still tied to my old (custodial) wallet, isn't it? So I bet it doesn't matter that I updated my profile until my next post.

can i help?

I think I'm good now. I saw 50 sats come into my new ⚑ address.

At some point I might post about my long journey, struggling through self-hosting a lightning wallet.

I've been at it for months now. I'm not doing this like a 9-17 job or anything, it's sporadic, but it's probably been hundreds of hours of work all put together. Between research, troubleshooting, reading code, writing automation, trying to get bug fixes upstreamed... it adds up pretty fast.

I feel like I know enough that I can do a proper writeup, but I'm not so buried in everything that I fall into the "my writeup would only be useful to lightning developers" trap. I feel like can really explain it to the self-hoster crowd and security analysts.

when i get my VPS, i'll be sure to follow your writeup πŸ˜ΈπŸ’œ

Teamwork!
