Changing your username and pfp and making it impossible for your followers to tell who you were before is a quick way to get unfollowed.

I don't follow them in the first place. But I've seen the name and it's still the same name. Changing up your pfp is normal. Changing it along with your name and banner, etc. That's confusing af lol, but people do it and I just end up unfollowing them when they do.
She didnโt change her username and pfp though. She made a new npub and started from scratch
She used to be Stella In Forest. Same npub as far as I know.
Different npub, different name, different PfP, different alby address, different tagline...
I've changed all of the above multiple times. It's a flex, tho, and it keeps my followers down to my hard-core frens.
I'm also just sort of an anti-social bitch.
Don't try that at home, kids.

I stand corrected, and not as hard-core a fren as Node.
This is sincere advice๐
My paranoia kicks in and I start to suspect scammery ๐
We're at a masquerade, and a friend's follow chain is our way of distinguishing a scam. Only the public key is unique, but the public key is too difficult to remember. If one day my public key is lost, how can we prove that I am Moss๐
It's a big reason I have color-themed profile pictures for all the sites I'm on, makes it easy to identify even if I change a display or username.
I almost forgot we made this feature.๐
