Is 1000 what you have set up in Settings > Zaps (I assume so)? Is this assumption correct?

Not sure I’ll have to figure out how to change it..
Tap your profile picture (upper left corner), then Settings, then Zaps
You can change there the default amount you want for your zaps.
Then you can also long press the zap button on a note and you’ll reveal a screen that will allow you to select a different amount for that note in particular.
