Took me long enough, but I’m experimenting with a standing desk now (literally a painting easel).

It’s an adjustment but you’ll get to the point where you can do it all day if you want.

Highly recommend. My tight hips felt so much better after a couple of weeks.

I changed to a standing desk approximately a year ago and It has been a super life changing choice! Im super happy! I cant wait to have a bit of resources to build me a propper space, meanwhile I have a kinda DIY construction with old elements I found on the house! The place where the arms rest need to be firm cuz we put a looot of weight there!

Good luck with that!

Interesting to see some advocates here, I know several people that tried it and went back to traditional after 4-6 months. Good luck!!

I definitely can’t do intensive work this way like transcriptions, but it’s perfect for general web-surfing and Damus

I still use mine and I’ve had it for years. But mine is sit/stand so it’s a bit different.

But I try to stand for an hour a day using it.

That’s great. I hadn’t been standing for at least an hour a day so I really need to do it

That sounds like a good option. I sit too much for sure!

Yeah, especially after my 50min commute to the office to have virtual meetings I need to stand a bit. 😂

It's so nice to wake up in the morning and stand while you work when you've been horizontal all night!
