Haven't used wireguard. How does it work? Any examples?
Discussion
Wireguard is a VPN. With wireguard, and another server, you can give yourself a clearnet ip address, and / or access your node remotely and securely. Umbrel, as an example I don't use, does include Tailscale which is uses Wireguard.
It also is a lot faster than doing it with Tor.
I've also done things with it like setting up nip05 verification and lud16 addresses.
For example here's my node's info. It appears to be in Sweden, but is not.

I did write this, and it uses Wireguard, I really should have ChatGPT rewrite it.
I do a similiar thing using Wireguard, c-lightning and lnbits for my lud16 address here. With webhooks I track how many zaps I get, how much etc. I'm also in the planning stage of setting up a goat treat dispensor and webcam using it.
Sorry. That doesn't use Wireguard. I forgot. Wireguard is another option which allowed me to set up an self hosted lightning address rather than an alias or forward.
Thanks for the info!
