Nostr needs to find a way to use Sats deposits and penalties to combat bots and spam if it is to succeed.

Would love it! Was already wondering why this doesn't exist yet. Alternatively you could implement a minimum post fee since SATs are basically proof of work spam protection at scale.
Yes. I like that idea. It would be a nice way to fund relays too. Users could choose to see everything, or filter out notes that didn’t show proof of work.
