Like you've mentioned earlier ALGO shit. The whole point of following other people on social media (for me) is to see their updates. If that's because they post good content or because I'm having fun engaging with them doesn't matter.

I don't need some algo to decide for me what I want or don't want to see or when to see it. I can follow and unfollow people myself. I'm old enough.

The thing is the more followers you have the more posts you’ll need to pass through if you want acknowledge of everything your friends says. Which become impossible at some point.

So we need a way to organize, filters, recommends but in a new way, not in a shadowy way with an agenda. More like way to highlight best posts against your criterias.

I know what you mean but moderating the content I see or don't see is up to me and it's not so much the reach of that post but the engagement. On Nostr it had over 20 comments. If you feel you're getting too much information then it should be up to you, the user, to filter, manage lists or unfollow people. No platform has to decide what I can or cannot see. I'm following most people for a reason and if I feel I made a mistake or that I get overwhelmed by updated it should be up to me to fix it and not some corporate algorithm who doesn't know me.

Also, on Twitter nobody cared because it wasn't a Bitcoin chart or shitcoin call. It's just the sad truth.

Yes that’s what I’m talking, it should be user choice, with filters you can configures and toggles.
