To support edits on normal text notes would put an insurmountable burden on all clients and the complexity would be so huge that no one would be able to write a client ever again.

We could even use a replaceable parameterized event with the d tag being some unique id for the note that is unrelated to its content

can this tie into a no rebroadcast for locals/Patreon/subscription content… so essentially the note just lives on one relay, so if it’s edited there it’s edited.
