Catching up with "Twitter: Breaking the Bird"

Which was also shown last night on legacy BBC in the UK.

I joined Twitter in 2011 after Paul Birch, the brother of Michael Birch, the founder of Bebo suggested I should.

A friend told me about Bitcoin a year later, I ignored this discussion until 2016 when I bought my first Bitcoin for $625 a coin.

$625 a coin?

I'm blocking you ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

You caught on quicker than I then. I was aware of Bitcoin in 2011and interested. Unfortunately I wasn't techy enough to get it, it wasn't straight forward to buy and then life slapped me in the face. Hard. It was 8 years later for me. Doh

Life slapped me in the face in 2002.

If Iโ€™d paid more attention, I was more than capable of mining Bitcoin in the early days, I was using my data centres to search for aliens FFS ๐Ÿ˜‚

I looked into mining but, as I said, I wasn't techy enough to grasp it. I had just given another house away, been demoted at work, was going through bankruptcy and fighting to see my kids. Bitcoin got put on the back burner. To be fair, that was probably a good thing. I reckon had my plans worked with early adoption, I'd be dead now

Bitcoin didnโ€™t solve that!

That sounds like a difficult time.

Is all good now?

Its all good. Mindset is the key Mike
