UBI doesn't stop directed print. It just sprinkles crumbs on "The Poors" to let them sleep better at night. It also exacerbates inflation and reduces innovation

We don't know how much it'll exacerbate inflation. It has never been tested.

And honestly I really can't see how it's more inflationary/distortionary then the current "print to all the elites at the top that will just park it in everybody's real estate that will make you a slave until your dying breath" world.

Real estate premium inflation has made everybody slaves to the fiat system. There's nothing more inflationary than having to pay a completely overpriced house for the rest of your life, just because "it's the way it is".

The idea that houses should be this expensive is the most inflationary scenario we could have in history. This is the end game of inflation. We've already lost the inflation game. Everybody is a slave to the fiat system just to live in their own house.

Actually a UBI is another tool that can solve that inflationary/distortionary problem, because it would inflate that mortgage away. Apart from of course **allowing you to live everywhere, decentralizing the economy overnight**. A UBI allows people to decentralize and live in much lower cost of living locations, drastically reducing the pressure to start a business and decentralizing the economy. This is one of the strongest arguments in my view also, by the way.

So yeah the reality is it could be the most productivity mechanism ever invented. My main argument is that it centralizes the debate in more or less UBI, which makes it easier to play in the democratic game. Because the current game is how can you make people vote you. And that's fundamental.
