It pays to be nice. My local liquor store manager just hooked me up with a really nice anniversary gift for my husband and 4 bottles of Colonel EH Taylor 🄃

That’s a fabulous whiskey

His current favorite and really hard to find nowadays.

Very difficult indeed - enjoy!!

Happy Anniversary

Not until June, so I’m sitting on the gift until then. Thank you!

Happy anniversary, Susie

Not our anniversary for a few months, but thank you!

Such a tasty pour.

Born and raised in Kentucky, and can verify that EH Taylor is a great bourbon. Just about anything coming out of Buffalo Trace is top notch šŸ‘. Wonderful gift!

Very cool! We are going to do the bourbon trail before we move to Hawaii. Oh the Colonel is not his gift! I was able to add to his Pappy collection ā˜ŗļø

Whoa!! Now that is a stellar gift! The holy grail of bourbons. You’ll have a blast on the bourbon trail. There are quite a few tour operators that run the trail, but I’ve found Mint Julep Tours to be the best. And not all the distilleries are in the Bluegrass region. Many great ones to visit in downtown Louisville too.

Let me know if y’all have any questions before the bourbon trail… happy to send you referrals šŸ‘

I would love any tips! We are going at the end of May. The only must on our list is Woodford Reserve.

Awesome! And thanks for the zap! The Woodford Distillery truly is a beautiful place and a must see. Also check out Castle & Key Distillery; it is in the original Old EH Taylor Distillery that looks like an old-world castle with its own Spring on premises. Buffalo Trace and Makers Mark should also be on your list.

In Louisville, be sure to visit Michter’s Distillery, Old Forrester, Rabbit Hole, and Angel’s Envy. I’ll continue to send you tips as I think of them, unless you tell me to shut up šŸ˜‚. You all will have a blast…

That was nice! Wut did he get?

The manager? I had helped him out with a dental situation in the past.
