Not rights in our Western sense. Married women are not expected to work but handle all things in the household where she is the boss. They are well kept in a 3rd world perspective. I see parallels in the Trad movement. Reject modernity, etc
They are not expected to work because who says it? I know, women and men have different physical builds, but if a woman wants to participate in something (like buying food, driving cars, helping others, decision makings and more), you should allow them to. They are not dumb or useless. This is like leaving 50% of population brainpower out of decision making.
These places you speak of with little womens' rights are controlled by sociopaths. Such practices do not represent Islam. They are using the religion for their political purposes. Common story in history. If you're genuinely curious, this is an 11 minute video on exactly what is Islam.
So in short islam is all about being friendly towards others and having a pure heart?
Why do people need to believe in allah in order to do that?? In quite some western countries this is just normal.
And if everything in the quran is word of allah, how does allah permit those psychopaths who oppress the people, to manipulate his words and impersonate it?
Im just qurious...
Yes, Islam is about purification of the heart. I'm not sure which western countries you're referring to, as the history of human rights violations in western civilization has been the norm, not the exception for over 2k years. Women only have had the right to vote in the USA since 1920.
People may need God to learn how to be the best expressions of themselves just like a child needs their parents to teach them to be their best selves. Some may figure it out on their own, but most won't. People generally need guidance & direction.
God permits human beings something called "free will." We can do whatever we want, but our actions have consequences.
