Looks like NIP-95 is more than just relays hosting images, it can potentially turn NIP-95 supporting relays into a file sharing network...now THAT will be interesting

interesting - was just thinking long form notes could be the Nostr docs here.

Relays are rejecting nip95 events. Just tried it out.

I think they have to explicitly support it, no?

This is very interesting, many clients have also implemented NIP-42. Now it's much easier to create relays where user is just paying for their own storage and bandwidth.

I don't expect it to be adopted by the majority, I even think it should be an exclusive feature of specialized relays. Clients must be smart enough to only send events that the relay supports. when it realizes that it is a 1064 event, it should only be sent to the relay that explicitly says it supports it.

But the topic discussion is interesting.
