We tried that. Couple of people complained that they are not seeing the zaps. It is really hard for people to understand the difference.. This problem will quickly go away in few days once all wallets starts to support. If they don’t support then users will start to move away from it.

this will not go away. not all lnurl tools and providers will quickly implement nostr.

maybe the big ones, but we want an open network here and not force people to use some limited lnurl providers/tools.

Already working on zap-like alternatives, where you can trigger the sending of LN tips from any nostr client

Without interfering with existing LNURL standards
