True, but you could arguably just use a burner key pair, throw it away after a single DM. Not perfect. But with the current state of things, that's probably how someone could do it.
And hope the relays aren't storing data like ip, device, client etc...

Are device and client bits of data shared with relays? IP is solved for with a VPN pretty trivially...
