What a great day.

I just had a good talk with my friends mother. She didn't seem happy about him proposing to his girlfriend.

She is feeling like losing her only son. She was hoping that he would come back to Switzerland after finishing university.

I could not give her any smartass advice, I just told her that he is the happiest since I first met him five years ago. I also told her that his fiance would be happy to have a closer relationship with his relatives. At least that's what she told me.
