Finally managed to get a lightning address added. Which wallets are people using? I ended up getting wallet of Satoshi, per #[0] walkthrough, but I’m not loving the custodial part. Didn’t see an ‘address’ option in phoenix?

Is it fully non-custodial?

No.

Check out blue wallet.

Doesn't seem to support lightning addresses either like WoS does, thanks though 👍

You can technically have a self hosted lightning address but this process has not been simplified to be user friendly yet

In the interim i would use a simplified option like WoS or Alby, and withdraw to self custody regularly

I recommend using Alby or other wallets because of privacy reasons in LN. If you put your invoice online you show everyone what nod is your, ip address etc…

Thanks for the heads up!

Checkout my guide for non custodial zaps with Raspiblitz and LND:

Does this guide also work with a desktop computer node running Linux?

The guide won’t match up exactly but I think you can setup Tallycoin Connect (the secret ingredient to this guide) on a Linux machine manually.

Thanks #[2]. I just spun up my umbrel node last night. I need more IT geek friends, I want to understand things down to protocol level.

I see why simplified option could be sufficient for this use case though.

Gonna look into btcpayserver I think.
