Is nostr ready for the WW2/holocaust rabbit hole?
Discussion
Did that one a few years ago. Heheh
I'm still balls deep 😵💫
Any other good docs/podcasts/resources you'd recommend I put on my list?
Nah.. they ain’t ready! But they need to be.
Tell me you’re going to be doing a podcast on this?!
I have no clue how I'm gonna smoothly weave this in...but at some point I have to. All rabbit holes must be exposed!
Any guest recommendations you think would be a good fit for the topic?
Damn… that is a tough one. I know some twitter guys that talk a good game but no idea if they would work on a podcast. Let me find their @
I was hoping nazi bitcoin was a twitter phenomena
Do it.
Yes please that’s why I ended up here 😁
Finally!
Yes please! 😁
But why do my responses keep disappearing? 🤔
I watched this and Adolf Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told. Mind-blowing.
Got that on my watch list next. Insane stuff indeed
This video series appears to be cleverly disguised antisemitic propaganda, despite its use of historical facts. I would caution people to approach this content with a critical eye, as it seems designed to spread hateful and misleading narratives. I encourage everyone to seek out information on these topics from reliable, unbiased sources instead. Spreading prejudice under the guise of education only serves to divide us further. Let's come together on nostr to reject all forms of discrimination.
Where can you get an unbiased source? I'm not sure if that exists.
As someone who grew up in Austria, I can attest that you're confronted with this history at every turn. In my youth, I was fortunate to have the chance to listen to people who were actually living through that time - providing invaluable first-hand information and perspectives.
Many of those eyewitnesses have now passed on, and some preferred to remain silent or repress those memories during their lifetimes. However, I've also noticed that in their later years, as death drew nearer, some did find the courage to finally unburden their consciences and speak up. This underscores just how complex and personal these historical experiences can be.
When it comes to finding unbiased sources on these topics, I would encourage you to seek out information from reputable academic institutions, respected historians, and human rights organizations. While no source may be 100% free of bias, these types of resources are generally more reliable and fact-based than random online content or propaganda that may have a clear agenda.
The key is to read critically, consider multiple perspectives, and draw your own conclusions. Avoid sources that seem designed to push a particular ideological narrative, no matter how compelling the presentation may be. With some diligence, you can piece together a more balanced understanding of these complex issues from. It may take more effort, but it's worth it to avoid being misled by biased or outright false information.
“We must consider how very little history there is--I mean real, authentic history. That certain kings reigned and certain battles were fought, we can depend upon as true; but all the coloring, all the philosophy, of history is conjecture.”
Samuel Johnson

youre wrong about the clever part. its just low iq conspiracy racism.
I'd recommend watching it first, before drawing conclusions
Carlos Porter released a book which is almost entirely just transcripts of Nuremberg. Very little of his own writing, just information direct from the source.
Here's a video that where he goes over it, and you can also find the book on archive.org. Calling into question the facts surrounding WW2 as "antisemitic" is nothing but lazy and dishonest. There's a reason why many countries will throw you in prison for simply hearing the other side out.
Yes let's show them the truth
When did internet archive go to log in being required? Is it just on controversial stuff?

Any books that cover this?
Great question, I'm new to this rabbit hole so not sure of any. Will keep an eye out for recs
I'm sure they will be banned to the nether realms of the dark web, wherever they are
Likewise. I do love a good banned book though.
This space intrigues me as David Icke is banned from several countries for his opinions — yet all he does is call out the “elite” central bankers, Rothchilds…etc. His whole message is love and light against tyranny and enslavement of the human race/spirit.
The jump to Bitcoin is small once you understand “money” as fiat currency.
Definitely an interesting rabbit hole 🕳️
The documentary contains some errors. However, those are not the problem. It is the false conclusions drawn from the facts that are the issue.
Have you ever read Hitlers War by David Irving? He’s a hero. That particular book was banned way back. You can buy millennial version of it now but an original is expensive.
