No, I wish! It was in April of 2000 at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, New Jersey. We didn’t have smartphones yet. He was performing with his wife (and legend herself) Laurie Anderson. Fantastic show.
Incredible story. I looked up the theatre and it was gorgeous!!! But it looks like it’s been closed for a year now :/
Hmm…maybe it’s undergoing some renovations, because I can’t imagine that place ever shutting down. It’s a registered historic landmark. The first act that ever performed there was the Marx Brothers!
