I mentioned this a few weeks ago. Think about a world where a company pays a set amount to advertise to so many people and where those people are paid to view the ad. No more companies using your Name, Image and Likeness for their profit, but where you can profit from yourself and companies have to pay for quality content. We’re flipping the world on its head.
Hope to see some of that quality content being more creative and less catered to the lowest common denominator.
I’ll actually pay attention to companies who pay me for my attention.
You wanna come hijack my eyeballs with some fiat unskippable nonsense ad, I’m immediately going to be hostile to your company and services.
We can only hope that the companies that decide to do this on nostr are cool and not some corporate WEF aligned fuktards.

Yea, that's a good example of nostr being a place where, even though it's sometimes criticised, bitcoin related content and bitcoiner centric users means that those companies that are already in bitcoin and companies that are trying to move into the bitcoin space can interact with us. Would be interested to hear from Blockstream about how they have experienced uptick in adoption or interest in their protocol from their interaction with nostr vs some of the other things they have done online or irl.
